About Meagan

Bio


Dr. Meagan England is the Elementary and Accountability Instructional Supervisor from East Tennessee and previously served as an Instructional Coach, K-8 Reading Interventionist, and a 5th and 6th grade ELA teacher. Meagan is an educational blogger and an adjunct faculty member for Lincoln Memorial University College of Education. She co-founded Empowering Tri-State Teacher Advisory Group to provide educators with professional development and leadership opportunities to improve instruction for all students.  Meagan is a member of the Advisory Committee and Steering Committee for the Claiborne County Boys and Girls Club and serves on the Cater & Moyers School of Education Advisory Council. She also serves as a board member on the Claiborne County Tourism Commission as the Tazewell representative, a board member for Claiborne County Habitat for Humanity, and is a member of the Women of Service where she volunteers her time to help students at the high school and college level. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society, TN Archives, and Remote Area Medical.  She is also an alumni teacher fellow for SCORE, Hope Street Group, and America Achieves.  Contact Meagan on Twitter at @oodlesofteach
